Brown Box (endorsed ‘Warden of Radley’)
The papers in this box are mostly those of William Wood (1829-1919), Warden 1866-70, who married Emma Moorsom, and his family and were given by Miss Dorothea Wood 1950. Many appear to be the ‘priceless papers’ mentioned by AK Boyd as having been found ‘lying about in a wooden dispatch box’.
